The Crown Inn is a drinker’s pub through and through. Real ale from some of the South West’s best breweries is served straight from the barrel and there are plenty of ciders to choose from too. If you do get peckish at lunchtime, choose from hearty homemade soups, beef casserole and chilli, all served with chunks of deliciously crusty bread.

A friendly reminder we do not reserve tables, so arrive early to avoid disappointment! 🍽️

  • Absolutely stuck in time with fantastic beer, open fires, no frills at all and a beautiful location. Been going to The Crown since the 1980’s and returning today was wonderful. Some would be appalled at the lack of mod-cons but if you want a seriously relaxing atmosphere breathing in the smell of wood smoke on a wonderfully gloomy light it’s a gem. Good food too.

  • This is a very secluded and rural pub. Very charming and quaint. Stopped there for lunch and I was not disappointed. Ordered the homemade lasagna and it was delicious. Service was good and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming.
